The only thing that has been a complete bust has been my broccoli. They all got really big but were destroyed by cabbage worms, aphids, and slugs. I did my best to protect them, but in the end they were all sacrificed:( I am a bit gun-shy now with trying to grow brassicas as I fear they are prone to pests.
However, we have been enjoying peas, radishes, carrots, romaine lettuce, beets, chard, cucumber, tomato, zucchini, strawberries, and raspberries. Still to come: potatoes and hopefully some eggplant and peppers.
Thanks to my wonderful friends April and Jess, I will also have a fall crop of delicious veggies.
